Stories and figurines...

  

Cute isn't she? But i had underexposure issue with the first one as i had to do it in a shade, therby limiting the amount of light i get on her. Again, these were taken with a Wide Converter WC-DC58N 0.7x lens.

I then headed to Suntec City where along the way, i stopped to take this:

  

The backdrop was unqiue to this place but i had trouble focusing on her Not sure why.

I continued my journey and took these at SAM:

I stumped upon something interesting...

I guess they only added it recently...

My second last stop was the Memorial park which i stopped along the way .

     

This time, overexposure was my problem. But at least the pictures turned out ok.

My final stop was at Suntec City. I found the fountain(smaller version, not the bigger version) very interesting...

  

I tried using an ISO of 100 and less than 6 shutter speed to get this shot. You can imagine how tough it was to hold the camera even with a tripod.

This was my first time going out with my figurines and i say i'm rather surpised that more foreigners ask more questions and stare than locals. I guess they haven't seen anything like i was doing back in their country. I chose the city as a backdrop because it is more interesting and also because i haven't got any good bed of flowers that both luk  and  Dancing Queen used to take their pictures in.I recieved weird questions like "Can i take it for you?" or "You can change lens with that(camera A640)?". I was also lucky that no child did grab my Makoto between and after a shot. In all, i guess it was successful and i will do another one with figma saber once i get back from Japan...

The following report is a record of what happened on the abyss fields by one of the five generals. The king of the hunters went missing around the time of the assault. He, however, does not seems so concern. Here is the report.

The air was thick with the foul smell of the swamp. But we laid in hiding till he arrived. Our amours are rusted from all the waiting. Yet, all we could do was stay still. The slightest movements could awaken the enemy. Their camp, which is only a few clicks away from ours, fell into silence of the night. It is...the promise to our king that we wouldn't make a move. Only with his presence then shall we....

The moon was kind to us that night. Her light illuminated the battlefield. And just as her light shone on the horizon, a lone figure stood there. Yet, all of us knew who he was. He raised his sword, using the light of the moon to signal the assault. And every hunter knew what to do. So we hastly marched past the black fields and towards the light of the flames in a distance. And soon, the night was silent no more...

The fields are now littered with the bodies. And our king, who led the assault, has disappeared into the night. He parred with the leader, and disappeared into the darkness. But he would be back. He always did in the past.....
